Just a friendly reminder, please do not post signs, flyers, etc on painted surfaces around campus including walls and doors.   In addition, if you are going to post anything, the posted material must have the El Rancho Stamp on it (see Lill in activities). 


EL RANCHO HIGH SCHOOL CHOIRS PRESENT…THAT’S SO 90’S, please join us for our last concert of the year!  Saturday, May 27th @4pm and 7pm in the El Rancho Little Theater.  Tickets $7.00 and $10.00 at the door.  Buy from room C-2.


You want to trade that old stuff collecting dust...Come to the Econ Trade Fair on May 20th between 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. in the El Rancho High School Cafeteria. Trade those old electronics, clothes and bicycles. Create a better life, community,environment, bedroom or garage by trading up and out.  


Girls Tennis Tryouts: Monday 5/22-Thursday 5/25. Bring your own racket and a water bottle. 


Dons, our last blood drive of the year will take place on May 31st.  Swing by Q-2 or Y-3 to sign up.  Seniors who donate three times their senior year can wear the red cord at graduation!

Congratulations golf team on your second place team finish in the Del Rio league. Congrats to Deanna Roldan, Jorge Diaz for earning honorable mention all league honors. Placers in Del Rio league 6th place and first team all league Alejandro Cortez, Eyan Baul who placed 5th and first team all del rio league honors and Eloy Rodriguez for finishing 2nd place and  first team all league and will represent the Del Rio league at CIF this coming Monday.

STUDENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY….Camp Counselors needed for Summer Nature Camp…At the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden.  Beginning June 5th.  Pick up flyer from the Activities Office. 


STUDENTS…Please do not use $5.00 bills on the vending machines, refunds will not be issued. 






PICO RIVERA FARMERS MARKET….Wednesdays · April 12 - July 26, Smith Park Parking Lot, 5pm - 9pm……The Pico Rivera Certified Farmers Market will provide consumers a source of low cost organic and NON GMO foods, nutritious and locally grown products. Consumers will have the opportunity to interact with farmers offering nutrition education about the production of the products the farmers are growing and the foods they are purchasing. Farm fresh produce, fruit, flowers, specialty items and prepared foods will all be available for purchase. Call 562-801-4430 for more information.



ATTENTION STUDENTS…Non El Rancho Hats are not allowed on campus. It is a violation of the dress code to wear a non-El Rancho hat. Any students who has a hat will have it confiscated and it will only be returned at the end of the school year. Also, skateboards need to be locked during the school day on the skateboard rack that is provided. Students must bring their own locks. Any skateboard not locked will be confiscated and will only be returned when a lock is produced. Thank you for your support in this matter. 



JUST A REMINDER ON DRESS CODE…halter, see through blouses or clothing, low necklines, open back tops and tube tops are considered inappropriate. Shorts or skirts which are shorter than mid thigh are considered too short. Printing on clothing that can be deemed offensive is not allowed. If you are found violating dress code you will have to change into school issued attire and the confiscated article of clothing will not be returned until the end of the school year. Repeated violations of dress code may result in suspension.


ATTENTION STUDENTS…The District is offering Athletic Accident Insurance for the 2016/17 school year.  The District has made available for purchase, voluntary student and athletic accident insurance through the Student Insurance Company.  The insurance provides broad coverage for 24-Hour, School-Time, Tackle Football and Extended Dental.  All students participating in interscholastic sports (this includes cheerleaders, mascots, bands, drill teams, etc.) are required by the Education Code to have adequate accident/medical insurance.  District procedures require all medical insurance interscholastic participants to certify accident/medical insurance coverage prior to participation.  For more information please pick up form from the Activities Office.

SENIORS….Don’t forget you must have a ID for all end of the year senior transactions…Grad Night, Cap/Gown, Commencement Tickets etc…..  You may purchase a replacement ID for $5.00 from the Activities Office.  Don’t Delay!!!
