ATTENTION STUDENTS…The District is offering Athletic Accident Insurance for the 2017/18 school year.  The District has made available for purchase, voluntary student and athletic accident insurance through the Student Insurance Company.  The insurance provides broad coverage for 24-Hour, School-Time, Tackle Football and Extended Dental.  All students participating in interscholastic sports (this includes cheerleaders, mascots, bands, drill teams, etc.) are required by the Education Code to have adequate accident/medical insurance.  District procedures require all medical insurance interscholastic participants to certify accident/medical insurance coverage prior to participation.  For more information please pick up form from the Activities Office.

STUDENTS…Please do not use $5.00 bills on the vending machines, refunds will not be issued.

CASHIER’S OFFICE HOURS FOR STUDENTS….You may do transactions before school, during lunch and after school until 3:30 pm.  DO NOT COME DURING CLASS TIME OR NUTRITION TO CONDUCT TRANSACTIONS.

ATTENTION STUDENTS…Non El Rancho Hats are not allowed on campus. It is a violation of the dress code to wear a non-El Rancho hat. Any students who has a hat will have it confiscated and it will only be returned at the end of the school year. Also, skateboards need to be locked during the school day on the skateboard rack that is provided. Students must bring their own locks. Any skateboard not locked will be confiscated and will only be returned when a lock is produced. Thank you for your support in this matter.

JUST A REMINDER ON DRESS CODE…halter, see through blouses or clothing, low necklines, open back tops and tube tops are considered inappropriate. Shorts or skirts which are shorter than mid thigh are considered too short. Printing on clothing that can be deemed offensive is not allowed. If you are found violating dress code you will have to change into school issued attire and the confiscated article of clothing will not be returned until the end of the school year. Repeated violations of dress code may result in suspension.

SAT WORD OF THE DAY… Virulent (adj. extremely poisonous).  The virus is highly virulent and has made many of us ill for days.
