Are you having trouble keeping up with assignments? Are you just not getting what your teachers say in class?  No worries, the El Rancho Tutoring Lounge has got you covered. Our capable college tutors will do their best to help you with any problem in any subject. The tutoring lounge is located inside the Library Building in room L101. We are open before school at 7:15, during lunch, and after school until 4pm.  . Don't wait, come get help from the tutors.


Juniors and Sophmores: Are you looking for a zero period next year? Do you need to open up room in your schedule or need to leave school at lunch time? Are you interested in taking a fun class that analyzes films like Boyz n’ the Hood and discusses race, gender and sexuality? If so then sign up for a ZERO PERIOD Diversity in Film & Lit class. See your counselor or Mrs. Mata in room A206 to sign-up!

Interested in a career in the medical field? Want to be a paramedic, firefighter, or in a public service career? And have taken Medical Core. Register for the Emergency Medical Responder class for the 2019-2020 school year. Talk to your counselor to sign up!"

Yearbooks Are Coming!......May 17—Four thousand pounds of 2019 El Rancho Yearbooks will soon be delivered to campus. Make sure you don't miss out by reserving yours now at the Activities Office!



ID’S….If you did not take a ID Picture, you may do so on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after school in the Activities Office.


LUNCH APPLICATIONS…Please submit your lunch application ASAP.  Applications from last school have expired.  Pick up from the Activities Office or submit online.  Thank you.


HEY DONS…Want a customized poster to support your favorite player?  Contact any ASB member for more information.  Price varies on size of poster. 


ATTENTION STUDENTS…The District is offering Athletic Accident Insurance for the 2018/19 school year.  The District has made available for purchase, voluntary student and athletic accident insurance through the Student Insurance Company.  The insurance provides broad coverage for 24-Hour, School-Time, Tackle Football and Extended Dental.  All students participating in interscholastic sports (this includes cheerleaders, mascots, bands, drill teams, etc.) are required by the Education Code to have adequate accident/medical insurance.  District procedures require all medical insurance interscholastic participants to certify accident/medical insurance coverage prior to participation.  For more information please pick up form from the Activities Office.


STUDENTS…Please do not use $5.00 bills on the vending machines, refunds will not be issued. 


LUNCH NUMBERS….If you do not remember your lunch see Jane in the Cafeteria.  Freshmen may get their new lunch number from Jane BEFORE SCHOOL ONLY.

JUST A REMINDER ON DRESS CODE…halter, see through blouses or clothing, low necklines, open back tops and tube tops are considered inappropriate. Shorts or skirts which are shorter than mid thigh are considered too short. Printing on clothing that can be deemed offensive is not allowed. If you are found violating dress code you will have to change into school issued attire and the confiscated article of clothing will not be returned until the end of the school year. Repeated violations of dress code may result in suspension.
