PAST:  Freshmen First Day went well.  Freshmen had a chance to connect with their Link Leaders and fellow ASB members as well as get used to the school’s campus.  On Friday, August 28th, The Welcome Assembly was held.  Despite the heat , classes were able to win class points, recognize the fall sports and their captains, while maintaining their school spirit.  September 3rd was Back to School Night, which gave students’ parents a chance to become familiar their classes, teachers, and the various clubs on campus.

September 4th was our first home football game.  September 11th was the Annual Club Fair at lunch where the clubs on campus were set up in the quad which gave students access to join.  Also held on September 11th was our Staff Appreciation game where teachers and staff were recognized for their hard work at the halftime show.

PRESENT:  ASB is preparing for Homecoming week on October 26th through October 30th.  Classes are also working towards the biggest event of the year, Night Pep Rally.

FUTURE:  College night is next Wednesday in the evening.  Representatives from numerous colleges will be on campus to answer questions from parents and students.

b)Special Education Report--The RSP model has been modified to allow for case carriers to monitor their caseloads better and reduce the D/F rates.  The focus of Mild/Moderate teachers are beginning to turn towards aligning best practices and expectations of the students in their classes.
