Also those students felt a sense of accomplishments that they “could do it”. There are 12 special education students in a class of 30. There are two teachers in the Geometry support class. The reason for creation of class is there was a need to challenge the students to a new level since previously the highest level was Algebra. Ms. Pat Gomez praised the program for giving the students a chance to achive!

- Judi Gollette shared a wealth of information on a viable transition program for 18-22 year old special abilities young adults. There are currently 17 students in the program that runs out of the Meller campus. The program is not academic but rather works on functioning skills. They offer career exploration and youth leadership development opportunities.
