Building Bridges

April 12-14, 2019

Building Bridges is a 3-day, overnight camp in which students from SoCal high schools explore issues of oppression, justice and the impact those forces have in their communities and their daily lives. There are about 3-4 camps throughout the school year. El Rancho and 5 other schools took part in the April trip. This was El Rancho's 2nd year participating.

During the camp, students meet and connect with people from other schools! They also get a more in-depth insight on oppression and privilege. Students who have gone to the camp have an opportunity to become a Youth Leader for the next camp season.

If you are interested in going to one of these camps, the next one will be in the fall! There is also a Building Bridges Club on campus. The club meets on Fridays during lunch in A101. Come join!
